Message I'l keep this short. I'm trying a small project with some spare water pipes I have, and noticed something that got me curious... The following pic contains two different upper H20 hardpipes. If you look at the engine block mating surface, you'll see the pipe on the left is completely flat, while the pipe on the right has a groove cast into it as a guide for the RTV sealer. is one more ideal for use on the car? I was planning on using the one on the left (the one on the right is unusable in its current state). I wonder when/why they changed this.
